Vigo occurs as modern village built in the mid-20th century in Kent, England. A village lies at a top of the North Downs, east of the road between Gravesend and Wrotham. Its title comes from either a public house situated on a main road, which successively commemorates a sea battle in the period of the War of the Spanish Succession. Vigo parish (formed inside 2000) is part of Gravesham Borough.
